I really expect all of the above - though "true video iPod" and 6G iPod I think are one in the same. The only logical way to have a widescreen iPod is to have a virtual scroll wheel.
As for the movie store...I think I remember SJ in an interview awhile back saying, while he likes the purchase model for music, movies lend themselves to the subscription model because most people only watch a movie once or twice, Star Wars geeks notwithstanding. So I think the movie store is going to be like a true movie store. If you want to buy a movie you can, but the emphasis will be more on a NetFlix type model. A $15/mo sub gets you 3 movies at a time, unlimited d/ls per mo. Alternatively, you could rent a single movie for $4, viewable for a week or so. For people who don't have time to convert a DVD to an iPod viewable format that makes sense. Buying for $15 or $10 isn't going to excite anyone I don't think.

Too big! This is what M$ didn't understand. The value of a tablet is NOT simply being able to write on the screen of a laptop. Tablets need to be comfortable in one hand, they need to be able to collect information (text, drawing, audio, still and motion video), they need to be able to play back information (on its own screen, but also on TVs, projectors, etc), and they need to be able to sync up with home computers. I probably want some functional capabilties (e.g. iPhoto red eye and retouch, or simple text/excel type input) but I DO NOT NEED TO RUN PHOTOSHOP ON MY TABLET! I will transfer my data/photos/video onto my main computer to do that kind of work.
If you give me a highly portable dock (something I can toss in a bag, and whip it out if I need it), then I won't need a bevy of I/O devices (firewire, s-video, etc) on the tablet itself. That can shrink the size, weight, and heat output.
If Apple does release a device like this, I make only one prediction about it. Some idiot will try to run Quake on it and report the framerate. "Because how can you justify an $(N*100) device that runs Quake at only (F) fps?"

it doesn't matter if you have a 64-bit processor and OS, you have to have 4Gb of RAM to run in 64-bit.
This is completely ridiculous. While one of the benefits of 64 bit chips is that it makes it easier to have >4 gig of RAM (and it's possible to get past that barrier with 32 bit chips as well), you are still "running in 64 bit" when using a 64 bit chip and OS.

Years ago, you had to pay for developer tools for any platform. Nobody jumped up and down complaining it should be free. So now the fee has moved from the tools to the developer program. $99 is the cost to develop apps for the iPhone. Deal with it.

There will be no update to the iPods yet, but they will be updated for sure before the release of Zune in October making Zune look old.
As far as other hardware updates: Mac Pro, Displays (iSight and significant price drop). The other possibilities are updated MacBook Pro or iMac. The MBP really needs it soon as the MacBook seams to be a much better value. I could see them updating it the week after quietly via the web only, as it is essentially only a processor speed-bump to the Core 2 Duo 2.33 Ghz.

Cool, thanks for the info, i didnt know about this product. Although reading the feature list it sounds more like a internet security and windows virus detector then a mac AV. But maybe i'm wrong.

I'm planning to order a MBP and a nano right after Paris. If MBPs come out before Paris, I'm still going to wait to see if they revise the nano...that would make up for the 3 months of waiting to get the MBP.

Seriously, I have dual monitors and I think a larger monitor would be welcome. Not maybe for dual monitor set up because it would be too large, but for a single large monitor, it would be great. Plus the use for entertainment display to watch movies and TV would be really cool.
The technology is here. I really expect Apple to come up something bigger for the Pro crowd and WWDC is the perfect event for that. Remember, people never thought the 30" would ever come up.

As for Isight built in, I like the idea, but if you have dual monitors, seems weird to have dual Isight. I rather have the BTO option for an extra price.

That would be WAY too expensive to ever be feasible to anyone except for a SMALL percentage of people/companies.

Why is everyone getting so bent out of shape so early? First off, this is hear say and not officially stated by Apple yet. If that time comes, I'm sure there will be the option of a physical disk, or some way to make a bootable install disk using disk utility. I mean this thing is already 9 pages long of people flipping out that OMG!!! ITS A DOWNLOAD!!! Guess what? Microsoft offers windows as a download, and guess what? You can burn it to a physical disk.. I can't believe so many people are already jumping the gun on a RUMOR. It's a RUMOR until Apple officially announces it...

Who cares for Quicken - it's not performance critical. It probably wasn't worth the effort given the gains probaby wouldn't even be noticeable.
The market for small businesses running their office/financials is small indeed but isn't an executive of Intuit on the Apple BOD? They should have been ahead of the game. It is suprising that the 2007 product line is not Universal. Oh, I would argue that it is performance critical. Try crunching numbers all day...
I did not hear of any market research by Intuit on the subject but I'm sure they are aware that their users are using BootCamp or Parallels and using the Windows versions (which are much more developed). Check their forums, users every day are posting they are "switching" away. This comes back to the "doomsday" reports of old when Apple announced the move to Intel. Will developers give up developing for Macs when Mac users themselves are booting up Windows on their machines? Time will tell.

I guess that all of Apple's current Yonah based systems will migrate over to Merom or Conroe in the next few months - I believe that Intel will be switching production over to these processors rather than Yonah quite quickly.
The MacBook will change last, IMO, say in three or four months time. MacBook Pro and iMac will get upgrades quite quickly though.
